thanx! i was thinking about joining a web ring but i'm not sure if there's one for music / abstract art ^^

https://hyperlink.neocities.org/ Hyperlink actually has categories for Art and Music. You can join both categories if you want. I'm also fairly sure the original WebRings(R) site has music and art rings, but I can't check it right now; my antivirues software lables it as a potentially malicious site.
