Hello! Apologies if I'm being a bother – feel free to respond only when you're back from hiatus – but I've been reading through your site and have two questions about the old web. I'll reply to myself with them. Thanks in advance!
1. Some of the material regarding the Quilting Bee, as well as some old patches I've seen mention "trading". It's my understanding than in pixel clubs nowadays, you're free to grab whatever you want, and trading is more of a two-way courtesy. Was this different in the Bee? Were there any trading "rules"?
2. In your Links page, you mention TCGs you played using something called "eTCG". I've already found my way to the Colors TCG, so my question is: were/are there any others?
With trading, folks were encouraged to share about themselves when requesting a trade with another bee. Typically, it was handled by a web form or an email. You couldn't take the patch until the bee you want to trade with responded to your trade request, so it was very different from current pixel clubs where anyone can take anyone else's creation anytime.
there used to be tons back in the day with various themes etc. some where around a specific fandom or celebrities, others were food or everything TCGs. People spent a lot of time sourcing images and making eTCGs
