I get that a lot! I derive inspiration from a lot of different sources, and I could see hitchikers being in there somehow, if not directly but through other media that is inspired by it. I think my biggest inspiration is probably an author by the name of Daniel Pinkwater. I also enjoy the aesthetic of early tech, like many people these days, and like combining science, science-fiction, and oddity with the rat.
