A light of hope for pop culture: Pol'and'Rock. No one takes the music for granted, neither the audience or the festival producers. The audience jumps and sings and enjoys the moment, girls sit on other people's shoulders and the camera zooms in on the hottest one, like in the 90s. I linked to the Hanabie performance, but the audience is just as crazy for the random Polish bands performing there too. I'm also more excited to see them than some world-famous group who takes its audience for granted (and vice versa).
Sweden Rock is just 55 year old men playing for 55 year old men in the audience who stand completely still. It's looking back without bringing in new energy, and also at the same time forgetting about what made rock great when it was actually great: The energy.
I haven't been excited to see a live concert clip in many years until this. Almost forgot concerts are supposed to be energetic. Pol'and'Rock came with a great example to look up to in the right time, and now you all know how good it's _supposed_ to be, and can ditch all shows not living up to this standard but still charging millions for it.
Hot girls sitting on people's shoulder and showing their boobs (they're not really there yet, but they at least _have_ boobs) to the cameras, is the greatest sign of all. Never trust a location or event that have no hot girls at it.
And yeah, a crowd that waves big flags and jumps in sync, instead of filming with their phones (like in the US) - when was the last time you saw that?
