what is the etiquette on posting button links to sites? Do you only post buttons to sites that also follow you? what if you cant find a button on someone's site?
Im tempted to post buttons for every site i follow, and even make placeholder buttons for sites that dont have them. would that be rude?

I'm pretty sure it's okay to link to sites even if they don't follow you, I personally just went hog wild. That said, there is a caveat: unless the user says it's okay to hotline or requests it, it's usually considered rude to hotlink the button. I'm pretty sure making buttons is okay, might be good to let the sites know so they can squee and be happy about it

I think personally I wouldn't find it rude but some people may feel differently? Not sure on the common etiquette. It seems like something that would be more flattering than not.

Hey, thanks! I just added the effect to my Effects Maker, so you can customize them and get code to deploy them to a Web page, if you want! I wouldn't sweat how skilled you believe you are at this. You can tell that what I've done here has inspiration from YOUR page already, and that's sort of the nature of making art out of our sites.
