thanks for the tip kaa, now I have a more complete unixutils set on windows. Impressive how big the manual page is just for the litte ed line editor.

I had and used vim before on Windows, it's a better compromise for me than ed.

Very understandable. Most of the GNU software manuals are far too lengthy to be practical, unfortunately. Enjoy vim.
Thanks for the comment, it won’t be optimal to organize first, then do it again, true, but some people likes reorganizing and if the things can fit in the space they won’t de clutter.
