i am very sorry to burst your bubble but you have not included the alt="imgdescription" attribute in img and also area, which is illegal. validator.w3.org also reveals some more errors. (was going to put an example here but neocities comments apparently does not allow that)
Oh dang, thanks for the heads up! I'm still new to html so that probably isn't the only mistake haha (Also sorry you had to see all this, I'm still messing around so it all looks kind of funky)
