I'm writing this status from Linux Mint! Currently still on the boot drive because I'm scared - I think I'll do a once over of my files to be sure.

yeah mint is kind of weird that way: it takes almost 3x as long to start up as win10 did. i'll admit to not knowing much about Wine since i still have a win7 computer that i use regularly for everything but internet.
just accidentally saw your statuscafe about linux, and i've said the exact same thing a few days ago, lols. will check out your site tomorro!!!!

Do you have any thoughts on downloading another OS onto smartphones? I saw on the Opt Out Project the author was using an open source OS on her previously Android phone and was curious about your opinion.

the only one i know really anything about is GrapheneOS, but you need a Google Pixel to run it. obvs it would be great to have a privacy-centric phone OS with user-revocable network access and no google features, i just don't know much about it. i'll do some more research on it.

If you have any advice I would appreciate it! My main problem is with layering like how dollzrevival does it, bringing objects to the front when you drag them. Also I love the style of your game!!

@aberbiccontagion Thank you!! ^^ I just used z-indexes to organize my layers. if you want you can just look into my code and steal some lol. the main way i learn how to do things is just peeking at others' stuff
