TTG isnt a very good show but its meant to serve a different audience as the previous iteration of Teen Titans and if your childhood is ruined by a reboot or sequel being bad then i think you have some issues that need sorting out. the original will always be there. critique the show for what it is and not for being a different show to the original, god dammit!
not all of my art is health related but even the stuff that is, its like, idk most of the time im not actively thinking "how do i artistically portray this concept?" im just Experiencing Something. and the idea comes to me because im Experiencing Something. and i go "huh, yeah thats what i feel like rn, thats a cool art idea". i dont think that makes it any less meaningful!
i say this because i sometimes see people say "the most important thing about art is having fun!" and others say "no, the most important thing is that its meaningful!" and like idk. art can be both. trying to define art and say how artists are allowed to feel and think and learn is useless because art is self expression. thats the point. it can be everything and nothing all at once. its up to the artist to decide.
It gave me a dog named Peek-A-Poo. I'm not complaining this is amazing. 10/10 dog maker
the peek-a-poo is a mix between a pekingese and a poodle! a lesser known doodle mix, and their genetics mixed together honestly just looks like a shi tzu XD
especially on the indie web and certain social medias, you're basically surrounded by people who see no issue with these things because they dont wanna contribute to a "toxic environment". arguably tho, this just makes the environment even MORE toxic. from creeps like ponymagnets to transphobes like vivarism, "see something, say something" goes out the window in favor of internet wokeness points. it's ridiculous.
to be clear, i dont say "wokeness" in the way shitass conservatives use it. i just mean that in a LOT of cases people will shrug off dangerous behavior in favor of avoiding "drama" and seeming like the "bigger person". its only when the issue gets big enough and popular opinion shifts that people start to finally speak up because its seen as acceptable now, and thats performative.
