I'm graduating from college very soon, so I'll have a good bit more free time to spend on art. I'm trying to keep in touch with people from my creative writing course as well, so hopefully that will keep me moving.

I'm also looking to start doing some proper studies and theory for illustration as well as painting. I think I could get a lot more done with proper fundamentals. Also with better paints. The current ones I have are quite cheap and you can see that on the canvas. They spread very thin, so it's hard to form the blocks of color that I'm really looking for.

But this is to say that I am often underwhelmed by my results on canvas (see: Snow Salt), and I really want to change that. I still fucking love my paintings, though. Like the way a mother loves her children, even if she knows they're very ugly.

I want all of these skills I build to culminate into larger projects. I've loved comics and visual novels for a very long time, and I want to make my own. I've had ideas sitting in my head and on paper for a while now, and I need to get them out or I'll die (creative bloodletting).
