hearing a lot about ai and neocities! i personally do not like nekoweb since it's hard to find new sites, so i will not be moving unless ai is implemented directly into neocities. will be done building SOON trust i am just very swamped rn

its a pretty mild blog post from over a year ago where theres no mention of AI in relation to HTML or web design. it mostly just discusses how overhyped the debate is and lists fields kyle drake thinks AI will be beneficial in. I don't think there's a risk of this impacting neocities which already uses its lack of data scraping as a selling point, it's an extremely lukewarm post

Yes, that's pretty much how I feel! I think there's value in making a neocities and a nekoweb to try out alternatives, but there's a lot of extrapolation going on, and that post is quite old now, so it might not even be how he feels anymore. best to wait!
