hi! this is such a cute idea. and maybe you've abandoned this already, but the url-only search on gifcities should solve some of those mysteries, e.g
https://gifcities.org/special-search?q=dmobilean&flavor=lexical

another thing that could be useful: you can use a file name used by gifcities (the long random code) to find every site that has used the same gif, by putting it in a url like this: 4VSJDP5RHA5J3WINKVI3QDEOFACGT4SB.gif —> https://gifcities.org/detail/4VSJDP5RHA5J3WINKVI3QDEOFACGT4SB
made the journal suck somewhat less, a couple of posts, and some more little changes. I deleted the automatic update post though because it looked like I had messed everything up... I should've cleared my cache first, ffs, it was all fine. oh well. maybe next time I'll know better.

Journal looks good, and yeah sometimes I found even when I clear my cache it can still take a bit for neocities previews to update. Hoping things improve for your little dog <3

@discopotato2 Ah yes I know that about the previews, no this was just about me not having cleared the cache, because surely that recommendation doesn't apply to ME, right? And then the site looks all broken. Thank you for giving me feedback, much appreciated. <3

I really like your photo archive, and I found it intuitive enough to just click off the maximized images with the lightbox effect.

I still had to make another minor edit to the links' style, but overall I'm pretty content with it myself, it's fun to try something different while still keeping the overall "aesthetic" in mind. and dumping out my bookmarks was pretty satisfying. and btw thank you for linking to my page too, I made a button now (on my index pg) if you'd like to use that instead.
