i love toxic ships btw not because i think the toxicity is cute but because its so interesting from a story perspective. when i write characters i almost always go into it with the idea that theyre kind of an asshole because flawed characters and relationships are way more fun to write and watch

even with characters that arent assholes or relationships that are perfectly healthy theres gotta be SOMETHING wrong with them ok. we joke about "oh all my ocs have trauma ehehehe" but honey thats called writing a story with an actual conflict
