you gotta download gimp (or use photoshop if you have no swag) and edit the scans! I promise you the scanned image still has the nuances of the ink, you just gotta futz with the levels and contrast to bring them back out
I've been using image editing this entire time. There's literally almost no color in the scan for some reason. I tried scanning at 600 dpi and 1000dpi and no changes :'(
Everything is just gray except for the little blue and pink in the center and along the top edge. Besides those small areas, there are no colors to bring out. I've tried levels, curves, and contrast. Just no color in there.
it sucks because it looks so good in person. Looks purple on paper, but the scan just comes out grey every time. So frustrating. Nothing changes the color barely. Hue and saturation just change the little blue and pink that IS visible. Oh well, I spent enough time trying to fix it. Im jus gonna use another ink color 😔
