how easy an electronic is to fix depends on the brand. sometimes companies make their electronics purposefully hard to fix so they can force you to buy a completely new one. Apple does this. PCs are pretty easy to fix though with the right youtube tutorial, and im sure you can find used parts on Ebay or something
