ok the code for the gf page is such an odious mess & every attempt to fix it is uhhhhhhh making it worse lol so i might just start over with a different base
each link on my homepage now directs to sites in varying stages of (in)completeness
'cooking' now redirects to https://latenitebites.neocities.org/ which is my other, equally-if-not-more-so under-construction site
