and for the Linux bit, I'm luckily not tied down to a lot of windows specific programs so I'll probably just jump ship entirely and not deal with dual booting cuz I'm like the opposite of wishy washy once I make up my mind lol sometimes to my detriment!

read your blog post on switching to linux! i'm currently in the process of doing so myself, and have opted (for now) to just run a dual boot where i have windows on one drive and linux in the other. right now im using cachyos, but have had a pleasant time with debian and pikaos when i tried them out on my older laptops. hope the switch goes well!

I've got cachyos on my list to learn more about! But I was likely just going to try something like mint since I've heard it's very beginner friendly. I really should try dual booting, I'm just nervous I'll fuck something up lol gotta back up all my shit first I think. Thanks for the follow! Your page is pretty rad <3

what an honor to be mentioned in a blog post <3 the sketch looks lovely, you have captured the composition so well! also on switching to linux, i still run a dualboot because im pretty wishy washy about how far i want to go. theres so many things that i use that just work on windows but require a little tweaking on linux, which i fear. i avoid ubuntu for the same reasons that you have mentioned-
-mint is a great choice still! if youre down to try other distros or at least look into them, id recommend debian or cachyos because theyre both quite easy to install. lastly, i hope you enjoy your time off!! :D
