It may be a teensie bit silly but sometimes I feel like my site can be a little too dark color wise. I was originally gonna do sth more pink for my about me but I seem to gravitate towards darker colors. Usually blue :'3

tbh i think it's nice because darker colors are easier on my eyes, but i know your site would look great either way!
