beautiful that you chose the name isobel… the whole part about needing to "believe it without proof" makes me think of the song isobel by bjork (which i love a lot so maybe im grasping at straws) but basically if u look into the story it’s about instinct > logic. in a way ur both using faith and narrative (and your other tools) to resist repression and ontological oppression. rly beautiful read
