I feel like I could have written your last update myself, from diary to neocities to running out of things to say, on the webpage and in new friendships. I really hope you (and I too I guess) stick around, though.

And I don't think I have found a solution to that "self-fulfilling prophecy", I think I'm still bad at making closer connections. But to avoid being lonely in college I lived in a student dorm and was active in my student organization (mainly doing the silly stuff, but like still organized so I know what my "role" is). But also I had to force and challenge myself to be a bit more outgoing than my comfort zone.
