all my files somehow went into disarray whilst deploying the website and I accidentally published draft posts... oops. the cleanest way I thought of fixing this was to delete everything then redeploy again, but now all the pages seem to be out of sync... hopefully it's just a problem on neocities' side and i just have to wait for it to update.
looks like everything is in order after about 3-4 hours. at least i know now that the 'edit site' page is not reflective of the actual site in real-time (especially when there's a large file updates).
