i still cnat figure out how to get a marquee to work the way that i want it to, which is why ive been procrastinating getting back into updating this. BUT i dont want to fall into a slump for years and avoid this again so ima give up on that idea i think, and just put the relevant stamps i wanted in it just still in the sidebar. which is a shame, the marquee looked really fuckin cute.
ok finally found the answers for One thing i want to fix and, yeah, i am absoLUTELY gonna need to rebuild everything for the site to function the way i want it to. but thats ok! i knew i was gonna have to do that /anyway/, just means i actually have a Direction for how to get that basic framework Down now. so yeah, lets fuckin goooooo

it appears that ACTUALLY the type of coding required to do it the way i want to is NOT hosted by neocities. cest la vie, live and learn. frustrating as fuck though. so i guess neocities is purely gonna be a learning ground for me to figure things out on, and ill figure out something else in the future

may have to think further on this. at the very least, this IS a good framework to start with. ill work on refining the homepage i think, and then decide where to go from there
ok yeah,,, its been a While, but i do actually like what i have so far. i think i will keep it as the base. i was frustrated cus i couldnt get the fonts to work, so i might poke around with trying to fix that, or find new fonts at some point, and THEN get back into this.
