anyway, a lot has happened over these few months. I'm talking into the void here, I can't say I expect random people from the “Activity” tab to see my insane self-talks. but, uh … I made my first IRL friend. we hung out last Wednesday at the mall and bought stuff. ate ice cream and churros together. I showed her my sketchbook and she smiled. she said she had a lot of fun being with me and hoped we could do it again.

I got more into visual novels, and I recently finished “Her Tears were My Light”. It was nice. my friend has been pushing me to read “Song of Saya”, but I haven't really done it, since I am reluctant, because of the content warnings. I have listened to the OST though. I like SABBATH, SIN and Glass Shoes. although, I kind of like the piano covers some people do of those OST better than the original soundtracks …

but, uh. after looking into so many VNs, it made me want to make my own. I don't own a PC nor some shoddy laptop, so I can't make it easier that way. I'd have to find alternatives, I thought. but, maybe I didn't dig much, but I didn't find anything in regards of “mobile visual novel makers” or anything akin to those keywords. so, I gave up a bit on my endeavors. but then I remembered this place existed.

this place supports HTML, CSS, JavaScript … practically perfect. I wouldn't want to make an overly detailed VN, though, otherwise it'd bore a lot of people while reading. my problem is, when it comes to writing, I drift between simplicity and complexity. but, the constant drift between the two (apparently) makes my writing fun to read, according to friends whom've read my works. but even then, I don't even know—

where I could /begin/ to write this story. I have had something in the drafts for a while- mostly … personal stuff. I might make a VN based on that, for a test run, and just hope it works. I've been meaning to try and write something to get specific feelings or thoughts into words, but sometimes it's very difficult … eh. here's to hoping, I can get something done with this. maybe it'll make somebody happy, if not me.

i'll honestly treat this postboard as just a section for me to ramble in about site progression and updates— at least until i get my page fully up-and-running, and then i can implement an “updates” section there. UNLESS-unless, whoever finds this, enjoys my ranting.

the real issue (besides the obvious html/css escapades) is finding a decent music player ... i wanted to try Wikplayer, but i heard it doesn't seem to work anymore. i tried another that was based for neocities, but it uses MP3 files, not YouTube links ...

i'll probably study a bit of html/css a bit more each day now, just so i remember what to do + how codes work. but other than that, i might just start drawing all the things i wanna put here; sprites, doors for pages, buttons, dividers ...

......... huh. i have a lot to do for this place.

i don't animate very often, and one of the main graphics i want to add to this place is going to be an animated gif of my sona ... i don't know what i'm doing ...

anyway— i'm still focusing more on what graphics i need for this place as well as a theme/colors. i need to draw backgrounds and certain things for certain sections i wish to add to here too. if anything, i'll probably end up drawing everything i want to add in.

i /did/ finish one graphic i wanted to complete for a section here. its not that bad, i'm quite proud of how it came out (especially since i do not draw in Yume Nikki's style very often, let alone pixel art)

oh yeah, and i drew a button too. its ... nice, but i could probably change a few things if i wanted to. but i'm lazy. so i won't bother. (-_- ;)

errr ... well, anyway. ok. i should probably study more html and css soon, the site looks really plain rn as it is

i really need to remember some of these codes more easy, but maybe i just need to get it in my head more ... oh well. practice makes perfect, i guess

maybe once i get the hang of this, i can put the stuff i need to put here, and then it'll look cooler. and maybe i'll leave stuff for people to find too—sounds cool, right? ☆(- - )
