a silly question from a silly someone who doesn’t know much lol—is the “call of Cthulhu” game you mention on the entrance page like a game someone’s made that’s based on the short story? Or is it entirely unrelated

Yes! Call of Cthulhu is a tabletop RPG by Chaosium, which is in turn based on HP Lovecraft's Call of Cthulhu! :D However, the writing project is based on the Cthulhu mythos as a whole! We just use the TTRPG as a way to drive the story forward, then write them down :) Thank you for the follow back!
