A diary entry that ends with "I'm so happy..." Somehow, after all those snapshots of joy, it was that line that really warmed my heart. Also I agree w you about Madoka! You can't blame a fantastic show for having uninspiring and potentially "genre ruining" copycats.

I had a really good day! I fell asleep with a smile on my face and I even woke up with some of that residual positivity. And Madoka is amazing! even if its dark it still explores themes and topics that are relevant to the lives of girls, much like other shows in the magical girl genre. shock value copycats are missing the point...

I wonder if the written word has some kind of magic power. Your own letter moved you to tears— would it have been the same spoken aloud? Either way I'm glad you were able to express yourself and surely your friend will be happy to receive it.

in this case it’s more impactful since Im probably less articulate when speaking aloud! I love writing and decorating handwritten letters to friends ^^

Rambly entries can be just as fun to read, i think. It sounds like you've got mixed feelings about the past— like how those experiences live on in you today, having made you who you are, yet the moments themselves are long gone and never ever coming back. Time is weird like that... it only moves in one direction

that’s exactly how I’m feeling! I can’t return to the past so the next best thing is holding on to every moment and experiencing it to the fullest… so it makes me uneasy when life feels like it’s moving too fast!
