If you want to draw in a realistic style then have you tried drawing upside down? I’ve heard it helps with breaking down the shapes and stuff - instead of drawing a face, you can draw the shapes you see since you’re kind of deconstructing it? Idk how to explain it.
For chibi style I have no idea - that stuff is a mystery to me (T-T)
