Just some typo fixes and I accidentally a 404 in one of the footnotes.

Just did some invisible infrastructure work on the site to support some upcoming stuff I plan to develop.

I finally replaced the old "journal" section of my website that was kind of dead with a mirror of my latest fediverse posts. Hopefully that'll be at least a bit more active than the previous weird feed thing I did. Also the old one's still archived if for some reason you just have to check out my banger posts from 2022.

I finished a new article I spent forever working on! It's up on my Residents shrine and explores a meme image I made. Anyways, I unfortunately had to link to some AI slop for that article for reference purposes, so I also added a new feature to my site that plainly marks any links to AI-generated slop content so you're informed that it's slop. My site's own content is and will continue to be 100% AI-free! <3

Very interesting. I had a similar childhood memory of a death screen giving me nightmares - the death bowser shadow in Super Mario 64. In my case I vaguely remember a nightmare I had where the death animation became 3d but that wasn't how the animation appeared but it made such a mark on my mind I still remember it as an adult.

somewhat less extreme, but i distinctly remember certain conditions in Mario Kart 64 where wario would say "oh i missed!" in the NA release. tcrf says it's actually "so ein mist!" and it's apparently exclusive to the japanese version. on the emulator, i've tried all possible ways of making that happen, but it just. doesn't.
