this is nicely worded... posting work on social media feels like a chore to me with how much planning and strategizing is involved. and as you said, the process feels impersonal and can grate on your self esteem...by comparison, curating your own artistic space just feels so freeing.
i enjoyed your manifesto! i wrote some similar thoughts on my diary after my frustration with posting art on twitter and streaming it on twitch reached a breaking point. that part about professionalism in art is especially important. archiving and appreciating your own art is valuable even as a hobbyist because hobbies and art enrich us. as a viewer, i love seeing all the work put in to creating and displaying it
