>Learning_languages Learn grammar first, regardless of the language. After that, the best way to learn a language without living in the country is being a hikki and only consooming contents in that language. For example, if you don't go outside at all and watch only animes on a vacation, I think you will be able to hear everything they say although you will not understand each word. Then search the words.

I've been stuck trying to figure out French for forever. Thus, if you have anything to help, please link it either here or via email. French books, video, audio, etc. Anything to make me start grasping the language more, until I can get it I'll also try to figure out it via chatrooms/forums.

I'll probably end up doing something similar for this whenever I inevitably start learning other languages like German, but FRENCH i must figure out first (most interested in it + I have the most progress in it)

And no, I'm not using Duolingo. My phone has been dead for a month, and on computer it does this bullshit (https://www.duolingo.com/errors/not-supported.html), probably bc of my anti-tracking BS. Yes what I'm doing is gonna make it way harder, but I refuse to use it if I can't do it with my anti-tracking BS yknow?

and with reading grammar i meant reading/watching grammar guides or explanations, just skimmed through them, most grammar guides dont prepare you for the actual spoken language

@pnnamerica on the list, albeit very far back on the list of what I'm going to learn. @lyricaltokarev I'll try to consoom French books and French videos then. @chipsfunfun Hebrew I am planning to learn as well, but only bc Old Testament of the Bible i wanna read.

code lyoko in french

The longest piece of literature is 31,476,030 words, my WPM is 110. To copy all of that over again, I'd need to type for 199~ days. And after all that typing, I almost typed as much as a woman speaks in a day, after 199 days.

@chipsfunfun im pretty sure even the Bible isnt 1M words, let alone 33M. Goddamn people on the internet are insane, what if we print that as a book (large-encyclopedia-like book that will probably be like 6+ inches thick)

yknow what? im making a uMatrix guide because this browser extension is AMAZING, if you use Firefox then use it over uBlocker Origin, because it is way better. As for a site like YouTube, just use an Invidious instance and "subscribe" via RSS feeds instead. firefox-extensions.html soon

I unironically think I'll end up having 100k DMs before 2030, probably before 2026 if things stay REALLY active. Also, tonight I'll work on the SDK archives some more

Preferably finishing out 2021 blogs, possibly starting on the 2022 blog archive (2022 is where things get harder bc of my use of spoilers, which is hard to replicate, but i'll try damn it)

Most of 2023 and all of 2024 will be easy, since barely any spoiler-boxes are used there so neither weird HTML/CSS additions throughout nor JS is required so yay. This'll still be a while though as I have to manually update the lists and manually rechange everything as I use the same format, also reuploading images and other stuff blah blah blah.

I am guaranteed to go over the 500-file limit if I would like to just download my site as a .ZIP, so I will have to probably mirror the website some other way from now on, though Neocities will remain the main clearnet host XD (perhaps locally I'll do TOR, and then clearnet will be done via Neocities + Codeberg? Idk, we'll see)

SDK archives alone will contain more pages on a personal website than 99% of Neocities websites, as I write actual new content then I'll probably have the most to read through too. Expect this era of DC to be glorious
