The last part of your entry touches my heart. I think the key to personal responsibility is understanding that even as we chase happiness and strive for contentment, at times we will be unavoidably depressed, enraged, ashamed... And we have to feel those things as they come. I guess it's about self-acceptance in the face of all hardship.

But even as I hold this key and others like it, it is hard to unlock the doors of life and harder to step through them. I suppose the difficulty proves that it's worthwhile... Even sensitive people like us can do hard things. I hope that both of us will find relief and acceptance in the new year. I also hope you enjoy Perfect Blue, it is pretty great!! && that little baby calico critter in a tulip is just too cute xx
