blog update <@:DDD it's still devoid of anything besides those two interviews from 2021, but i have replaced the original three-paragraph bio/explanatory note on the homepage with a five-paragraph letter to visitors/readers/siblings in Christ

my twitter has been suspended; i swear i'm going through withdrawal of some sort. if it gets too much i might actually update this web-site---not much is new: just a poem for the martyr bushnell, a revised tagálog translation of prof. joma's "i wish to be taken for granted," and perhaps a blog post. i'm also no longer with my boyfriend (for whom i put that picture of pai hsien-yung & wang kuo-hsiang on my home-page).

most of my yappings are on twitter (@luningningbao), but now i'm thinking about channeling all that yap-energy into actually writing things of some coherence and usefulness here. it'll mean less of my time devoted to doomscrolling and takes-having and more to cohering and honing my writing practice. much to think about! but i don't think i'll ever be free of twitter--i'm too terminally online!

just realising that the title i put for the homepage, "home: tapilók-bángon," automatically became the site's name here on my profile. changing that now to remove the "home" bit. i'm no good at coding!

also: "tapilók" means to trip or fall down in a particularly clumsy way; "bángon" means to arise. the compound "tapilók-bángon" thus means something "slip and get back up," which i think suits me, an autistic ADHD'er, well. i'll add this explanation to the home page in a bit.
