i don't work with pts in dire conditions like this but ive experienced this on the patient side. its hard to unplug and decompress when you're focusing on being a good example for trainees. it's nice having a cool manager to help though

Can't really help with the webring thing save OnionRing -- I vaguely considered starting an EtF / general emo-metalcore-posthardcore hybrids ring but decided against it because I don't really want to deal with admin stuff and many "emo" websites...aren't. (if you made an emo vampires webring, though, I would totally join.)
i have an inclusive definition, but, like, it is a music based subculture so while i welcome posthardcore / metalcore / pop punk etc since there's more overlap than anyone wants to admit, if you don't contain those elements and are just tiktok friendly pop or electronic with sad lyrics, that isn't "emo" because angst is not a genred concept. but i don't want to explain that or manage webring emails.
If you don't want to manage applications, I know there are ways to do webrings where you just put some XML file or something on GitHub and folks add them to it where it runs automatically, but I don't know how you do the backend for those. OnionRing is what most of the ones I've joined use, but I think it means you have to process apps manually -- something where folks self-sign up may be easier to manage
