As long as I’ve been on Neocities, all four years of fun and laughs and drama and sites dying and my own sites dying and dogs made of bees that bark and shoot bees out of there mouths, Strata has been out here producing his best work before any of you zoomers even knew how to sling HTML.
It was back in 2019 when Strata took a break from Neocities. I wasn’t around to see it - I already dipped by that time and was having my own mental breakdowns. I remember him saying he didn’t like me much anymore. Hell, neither would I. I was an asshole back in the day. But it’s been a while, and though it feels bittersweet looking back on those days and all my dealings, it’s nice to see some familiar territory.
I’ve been a real dipshit over the past four years - for various reasons. I never kept my cool. I was an awkward son-of-a-bitch. Blame it on the autism or just general wankery, I wasn’t too good to a lot of people. Strata included. And if you zoomers were around during that time, you’d know that, too.
So I wanna apologise to you, Strata. It’s nice to see you around again, for however long you decide to stay. I hope you can peace with yourself like I’ve come close to finding. And it may not be my business, but I still wish you well in your personal feelings and your personal endeavours.
Also, ya’ll better be using that mfing flag I made for you back in 2017 - ahhh, just kidding! Do whatever the hell you like. I sure am, eh?
