what is punchinello, anyway?

Punchinello is one person's personal den of eclectic curiousities, loosely curated to celebrate pulp, radicalism and degeneracy, but there's no hard rule.

what do you mean by degeneracy?

This site seeks to reclaim so-called "degeneracy", particularly as it becomes more prominent in modern political parlance, which is used to scorn, insult, dehumanise and reject anything that differentiates from a miserable, rigid worldview steeped in bigotry. It's a pretty broad scope on this site . . . from the truly boundary-pushing to work that baffles the mind how any sensible society could reject it, though I expect I'll largely linger somewhere in the middle of the spectrum.
