I am an aspiring level designer and game development generalist looking to learn more!
Together in a game development team of eight I worked as the level designer for Octopillars game, 'The Forgotten Allegrezza'. This was a collaborative effort between our team and SPOT, a concert and theater organization in the Northern area of the Netherlands. Together, we were able to recreate the immersive concert experience in the home to raise interest in classical music and live performances.
Based on music provided to us by one of SPOTs classical music performances, we created a puzzle platformer designed to tell as story based on our interpretation of the music. The music that was provided was also transformed to work as part of the level design, playing specific loops of the music at specific parts of the levels to provide immersion for the player.
