Manny Orozco (he/they) is a Tagalog-Indigenous American interdisciplinary artist based in San Diego, California. His practice involves heavy internet consumption and repurposing cyberculture and digital artifacts, to investigate themes of mental health, colonialism, and identity politics. His work challenges legacy euro-centric ideologies in contemporary art and life, favoring commonplace vernacular and kapwa (Tagalog for shared humanity), to produce provocative but playful narratives through moving images, virtual environments, and printed matter.
