I adore your writing! I really feel like Ted Kaczynski was right, more and more every single day. The system is a grotesque, cancerous aberration that wants nothing more than to expand itself, with zero concern as to how many animal and human lives it has to take or ruin to achieve this. We have become a bunch of grey goo, spreading and destroying everything in our wake.
Thanks so much koshka, that means a lot as when I first came on here I was really inspired by your intellect and writing and was hoping I could scrape together all the broken thoughts I had about my experiences in Aboriginal Australia.
You know I met so many neurodivergents at the the Fairly Creek blockades, it was so cool. Between your writing and all the folx I met there I finally am able to say I AM AUTISTIC! And I'm also not, because I don't like to put myself in a box but I'm proud to be a weirdo that will never fit into cliques or mainstream society :).
*Fairy Creek. But ya to suddenly be around so many people who instantly understood how my mind and feelings worked was incredible.
Ted Kaczynski's life story saddens me a lot :( I understand why he got to where he was and I fight myself often to uphold my commitment to peaceful nonviolence when it comes to activism but I know it's the only way forward.
@koshka I guess it wasn't when I first came on here becaue that was quite a few years ago, but when I first really starting puting effort into my page and connecting with other neocities nerds..
@fragmentandreflect Thank you very much, my friend! I love your writing and photography, and hope you keep at it. There's a pleasingly "genuine" feeling to your work that is hard to find anywhere else on the Web. Regarding autism, considering how mind-bogglingly diverse autistic brains are, I would argue that it's neurotypicals that are in a box. (; I think autistic people understand each other better because of a
shared understanding of being the "odd" person out, and being skilled at adapting to other people's ways of communication instead of expecting everyone to be more or less the same. I can't really blame Ted Kaczynski for what he did. There comes a point where you either have to learn to shut down parts of your brain to retain your sanity, or snap and go feral. The former just wasn't an option for him, I suppose...
