Amsterdam seems very famous for their everyday bike travels, Not Just Bikes has some videos about dutch bikes that may be of interest to you.

more courage than I would ever have. my credo is "it's up to both parties to decide whether or not they struck a good deal" - although, keeping in mind your post, maybe a better frame would to be "hope your other party got a good deal but have the courage to get one too" i.e. open up if you feel it's needed

i wouldnt reread down the rabbit hole part 1 for a hundred dollars LOL.
