Fur Affinity is like wading through a swamp infested with every type of bacterial organism known to man, a mossy, green, goopy mess, only offset by its small islands inhabited by the few sane people in the swamp. In essence, it brings shame to the furry community.

And it’s really a shame, considering how it’s the first thing so many people look at as an example of what furries are, and even more so when you consider there are some truly fabulous people on that site. But for most people, they look at it and think “this culture is disgusting”. And it can be. But it’s the same for 90% of all culture.
The elephant in the room here is what alternatives we have to the DeviantART / Fur Affinity / Tumblr oligopoly.
