if corporations can use generative ai to make profit from them then that means copyright doesn't mean anything and people can use any character that those entities "own" freely how they want. (´･ω･`) rules for the peasants but not for the rulers much lol

at the very least everytime people's art and creative outputs are used in generative AI they should be getting royalties as the bare minimum but that's not even happening so people are also losing out lol wheeeee
It depends on the circumstances.
