Added 5 new themes to switch between on my site! Also added a brand new link for my site, thoughts.page, where I will be posting weekly thoughts every Sunday EDT. Added new buttons to my other links page as well. Thoughts.page and my Micro-Blog now have RSS feeds to follow too

All art and descriptions for the 2023 gallery page have been added, the main code on the main gallery page has also been updated. Featuring a dedicated RSS feed just for new gallery uploads! If you are interested in knowing when I post new art, I would recommend following the feed!

I think what I’m going to do to speed this process up and save my sanity is upload all the images to the gallery pages first and write short descriptions, then go back in and add alt text because I think if I tried writing alt text for every single image upload immediately for over 400 drawings I will be so drained

2024 has all its alt text so far which is my priority since that’s my most current collection of drawings, the rest however will take some time to fully complete. Especially the months with a lot more art than average (namely July cause art fight)

I’ll put disclaimers on all the older gallery pages that alt text is in progress! That’ll be my next step once all my art has been uploaded here
Progress on the gallery update has begun; main gallery page code has been slightly reworked and my 2024 gallery page has been completed. Also put code credit in my credit page!

SO- good news I found a gallery code I really like for my site, tested it out and it works perfectly. The downside is uploading 5 years of art onto my site (416 drawings,,,) compressing them all, and making captions for each piece I upload

Since 123 Guestbook is shutting down (more info about that here: https://www.123guestbook.com/news.php?id=closure ) I would like to recommend this guestbook code I use by Virtual Observer. It’s for an onsite guestbook and runs out of Google sheets and forums, I’ve had no issues with it and it has great customization + the ability to delete messages too. February of this year it no longer works without a supporter perk due to restrictions neocities has in place surrounding loading external data from other sites for security reasons. But overall it’s great, not too hard to use, and I love that I get notified in my email when a new entry has been posted, makes keeping track of replies a lot easier, would recommend! I will still update the main site logs once a month when the featured drawing in the gallery changes so you can see any other art that was posted over the course of that month too! I just don't want to clog up the main update feed with just my art uploads
